TURN NOTIFICATIONS OFF

Windows and Mac computer
  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More   Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
  4. Under "Privacy," click Content settings.
  5. Under "Notifications," choose one of the following:
  • Allow all sites to show notifications: You’ll automatically see notifications from all websites.
  • Ask when a site wants to show notifications: You’ll get an alert from Chrome whenever a site wants to show you notifications. This is the default setting.
  • Do not allow any site to show notifications: You won’t see any notifications from websites.
You can also block any sites, apps, and extensions that already have permission to send you notifications. Just click Manage exceptions.
Andriod

Allow or block notifications from all sites

  1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Tap Site Settings and then Notifications.
  4. Use the blue slider at the top of the screen to turn this feature to Ask first or Blocked.
  • Ask first: You’ll receive an alert from Chrome whenever a site wants to show you notifications. This is the default setting.
  • Blocked: You won’t see any notifications from websites.

Allow or block notifications from some sites

  1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. Go to the website you don’t want to receive notifications from.
  3. To the left of the web address, tap Lock Lock.
  4. Next to "Notifications," tap the Down arrow Down Arrow. Choose Allow or Block.
  • If you don’t see the setting here, this website can’t send you notifications.
iPhone & iPad
Chrome doesn't get notifications on your iPhone or iPad.
